Big day on the bike today,. Mt. Elwell is for real. 13 miles that feels like 30.
It was absolutely stunning out there with perfect weather for biking.
We rallied at mill pond in Graeagle and shuttled with Devin's truck up to the parking lot. Steep, technical, and punchy climbing combined with some hike-a bike to get to the peak. 4 miles took us over two hours.
The views were incredible. At one point we could see Mt. Lassen clearly and the Sierra Buttes were beautiful as always.
Summit beer and snacks before carefully making our way across some remaining snow at the top (in September?!).
Ended back at the Brewing Lair where it was laid back and chill.
Another world class day in the Lost Sierra!
